The BB-Preamp Comp improves on the already-stellar sound of the original preamp while adding new features, such as a compression switch and a tighter overall sound. The secret to the BB-Preamp Comp's tone is that there are two circuits in one: the original BB Preamp, and an added compression circuit. Use the three-way switch to choose between standard compression, more compression, and no compression. It has a versatile overall sound that can be changed to your liking with the pedal's Bass, Treble, Volume, and controls. It even retains a small footprint and true bypass functionality despite housing preamp and compression circuits.
