Description
A marvelous sounding hollow body with an exceptionally comfortable feel. The baffled F-holes actually help to eliminate feedback so the guitar can be played at higher volumes. The unique control system allows the player to use the blend control to go between pickups with the selector in the middle position, or allows the player to use the selector as a "kill switch" with the blend knob in a specific setting. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & the cherry finish is still quite strong & vibrant.
Neck: Nicely rounded, semi-chunky maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & white dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Open-gear Yamaha tuners & zero fret. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions.
Body: Double-bound hollow body with bound F-holes. Yamaha tremolo tailpiece & adjustable bridge with roller saddles on a rosewood base. 5-ply black pickguard & chrome hardware. Guitar weighs 7 lbs even & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Hum-free, anisotrophic ferrite magnet pickups with replacement 3-way toggle switch. Master volume & tone controls with balancer control (pickup blend). All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
