Made for a brief time in the mid to late '60s, this ultra cool Mark IV bass has all the great hallmarks fans love about these basses, from the teardrop body shape & headstock to the pair of sweet sounding single coils. This one has been fully inspected & set up ready to play & comes with its original hardshell case.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical play wear for its age with a cool, true vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the bass has a great vibe with a nice patina.
Neck: Wide, chunky profile maple neck with white binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Open-gear tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width with zero fret; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Teardrop shape, solid alder body in 3-tone sunburst finish. Top-loading bridge with fours adjustable saddles & original bridge cover. Foam back pad & chrome hardware. Pickguard is missing. Bass weighs 9 lbs 5.1 oz.
Electronics: Two single coils with white covers & chrome bezels. Bridge - 6.59K ohms; Neck - 6.14K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
