Description
A great import "lawsuit" model based on the Barney Kessel original made by Gibson. This one has the same hallmark features, including double Florentine cutaways & double humbuckers. The slender profile neck is super comfortable & the guitar is very resonant, producing a warm acoustic tone. Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape overall with gently play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The neck joint has a small amount of separation, but it does not move and does not affect the overall playability of the guitar.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Schaller Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Hollow maple body in Cherry Sunburst finish with dual Florentine cutaways. 3-ply bound top & back with bound F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with wooden badge. Six-saddle adjustable bridge on a floating rosewood base. 3-ply black pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 12 oz.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 5.80K ohms; Neck - 6.90K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Hardshell case included.
