Made for a brief moment from about the mid to late '80s, this ultra cool Carvin V220 features a neck-thru design on a futuristic body shape & loaded with a pair of powerful sounding Carvin humbuckers. Additional features include a Kahler tremolo with locking nut & gold hardware. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds marvelous!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty clean for its age with some mild play wear - various tiny nicks & dings; surface scratches & some tarnish on the gold hardware. Overall the guitar looks great & has a really cool vibe to it.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. 24 frets in great shape with practically no wear. Carvin diecast tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid alder body with USA-made Kahler tremolo bridge & original trem arm. Gold hardware & the guitar weighs 9 lbs 11.4 oz.
Electronics: Dual Carvin humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 11.95K ohms; Neck - 13.39K ohms. Dual volume & master tone controls with knurled knobs. 3-way pickup selector & two 2-way mini toggles for coil tapping. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
