What makes this guitar special: A rather stylish looking vintage Silvertone hollowbody made in Japan & finished in fire engine red. Features include a pair of art deco looking single coil pickups, Bigsby-style tremolo tailpiece, and a chunky maple neck with gorgeous rosewood fingerboard. Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with some typical play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a wonderful patina.
Neck: Chunky maple neck with 3-ply binding. Stripey rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. 3-ply black headstock overlay with raised Silvertone logo. Closed-back tuners are in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Double Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. 6-ply binding on top & single bound back. Tremolo tailpiece with six-saddle adjustable bridge on a rosewood base. 3-ply white pickguard & side-mounted input jack. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 15.9 oz.
Pickups: Dual single coils with black & white art deco design. Bridge - 4.56K ohms; Neck - 4.47K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with silver "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
