What makes this guitar special: Manufactured by Danelectro and distributed by the Sears Corporation under their Silvertone brand from 1962 to 1966, the ¾ sized 1448 with an amp in the case is a cool and unique piece. The in-case 3 watt tube amplifier works as it should, though it does have a replacement speaker. Set up by the professionals at Cream City Music, this guitar will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: For its age, this guitar is in great condition. There are various nicks, chips, scratches, and dents throughout, as well as some noticeable wear on the headstock.
Body: Double cutaway poplar centered masonite body in black sparkle finish with white wooden pickguard and adjustable bridge.
Neck: 3-bolt poplar neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and white dot inlays. Original tuners are in good working condition. 1 ¾” nut width, 23 ¾” scale length.
Electronics: Single classic Silvertone lipstick pickup. 1x volume, 1x tone. All electronics function perfectly.
Case: Original Amp-in case included, with working 3-watt tube amplifier, and replacement speaker. The case is in great condition, with no tears in the interior lining.
