The guitar is very light weight, plays well, and has great tone from its unmistakable “lipstick” pickup. The convenience and presentation of this package has made it a favorite for over 50 years. Cosmetic Condition: Used but not abused. Scratches, dents, dings, and chips throughout. But the guitar is in good shape overall, especially considering its age, and this one plays well- which is not always the case with these models! The handle is missing from the case (see photos) and the amplifier has some operating hum to it that can be heard, but its still in working order and is a really fun addition to this package.
Neck: “C” shape maple with a rosewood fingerboard. White dot inlays and the 18 frets are in incredibly clean condition and have tons of life left in them. The vintage tuners are in good working order, 1.650” nut width, and a 25” scale length. The neck is straight and the truss rod has been tested and is in proper working order.
Body: Masonite, poplar, and plywood construction. White pickguard and vintage adjustable bridge. Guitar weighs 5lbs 7.6oz.
Electronics: Single lipstick pickup measures 3.48K ohms. Single volume and single tone controls. All electronics have been tested and are working perfectly.
Case: Original amplifier case included.
