Description
Very rare & highly sought after by aficionados, this GR-33B is 100% original & comes with its original Bass Guitar Synthesizer! Featuring a silky smooth maple neck set into a solid ash body with a Roland PU-144S single-coil. When connected to a Roland guitar synthesizer, the active electronics are powered by the synth. When used alone, two nine-volt batteries supply power when a 1/4" cable is plugged in. Professionally inspected & fully functioning, ready to find a new home!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical mild play wear for its age - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & just some general light ageing. Overall the bass looks good & has a cool vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gotoh open-gear nickel tuners work great. 1 11/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural brown finish. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable brass "barrel" saddles. Bass weighs 9 lbs 10.9 oz.
Electronics: Roland PU-144S single-coil pickup. Master volume and two bands (high and low) of active equalization. When connected to a Roland guitar synthesizer, the active electronics are powered by the synth. When used alone, two nine-volt batteries supply power when a 1/4" cable is plugged in. There is a control for filter cutoff, resonance, a three-position mode switch, balance knob, LFO depth, plus touch pads to turn the LFO effect on and off.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
