Penco produced generally high quality Japanese-made copies of classic American guitars in the mid to late '70s which were imported by Philadelphia Music Company of Limerick, PA. This beautiful E-20 features a very comfortable & silky smooth playing neck along with some gorgeous flame figuring in the body. The double humbuckers sound terrific & deliver rich, robust tones. So if you're looking for an excellent budget-grade ES-335 style guitar, this one's the ticket!
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age & quite clean in fact with only some very mild play wear.
Neck: 3-piece maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Closed-back tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The body is perfectly book-matched & shows off some really pretty figuring throughout. Trapeze tailpiece with ABR-1 style bridge & 4-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 10.8 oz.
Electronics: Dual Maxon humbuckers with black bezels. Bridge - 7.74K ohms; Neck - 7.91K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
