Description
Condition: There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and some chips throughout the instrument. There are some heavier scratches and dings towards the bottom on top and throughout the back. There are some heavier scuffs and buckle rash throughout the back with the heaviest along the upper and lower bass side bouts. There is what appears to be a large sticker ghost on the top on the lower bass side bout. This is only visible under direct lighting. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear towards the lower registers. The neck has a little more relief in the bass side than the treble side but is very straight overall. The neck tilt adjustment and truss rod function fine. There is a capacitor connected to the ground wire from the input jack to the guitar body, this may have been done post factory (see photos). All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured double-cutaway 4-piece maple body in sunburst finish. The bass side has some gorgeous subtle flame figuring. Triple-plated chrome bridge with six individual saddles and height adjustment screws on either side. Skirted control knobs, slider selector switch and a 3-ply off-white pickguard.
Neck: Slender maple neck with neck tilt adjustment, maple fingerboard, black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Peavey Trulok tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Peavey single-coil blade pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.61K Ohms.
Middle: 5.67K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.60K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 14.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The Peavey T-26 is an exceptionally versatile guitar. The high-output single coil pickups sound excellent and are suitable for any playing style. The neck is highly comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case. The original lining and padding is missing from the interior of the case but the guitar will be packaged with materials to protect the guitar drom damage due to this.
