A nice sounding banjo that's really fun to play. This lovely tenor was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. There is an unrepaired crack across the neck heel, but it doesn't seem to affect playability.
Neck: V-shaped maple neck with some light birdseye figuring. Ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays. Rosewood headstock overlay & friction tuners. 1 3/16" nut width; 21" scale length.
Body: Maple open-back body with metal tone ring. Nickel tailpiece with Grover maple/ebony bridge. 11" diameter head with 24 lugs. Banjo weighs 6 lbs 4.8 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
