A rare T-18 featuring 10 strings. This beautiful Tiple was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Nice shape considering its age - various little nicks & dings; scratches & some weather checking. Overall the Tiple looks good & shows off a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Slotted headstock with Brazilian rosewood overlay. Side-mounted tuners with cream buttons. 1 1/2" nut width; 17" scale length.
Body: Double-bound body in natural finish. Solid spruce top with multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with metal bridge. Solid mahogany back & sides. Tiple weighs 2 lbs 0.3 oz.
Case: Hardshell case included.
