Description
A lovely sounding Style 2-20 with a rich, robust tone. This beautiful mandolin was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with some mild play wear - various nicks, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the mandolin has a wonderful look to it with a true vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Flame maple neck with nicely aged ivoroid binding & faded black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Tortoise headstock overlay. Grover, open-back strip tuners work great. 1 1/8" nut width; 14" scale length.
