Description
A lovely sounding Soprano uke that's super fun to play. This beautiful Style 1 was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape overall, but there are of course signs of play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & a crack along the treble-side of the body, lower bout that was professionally glued. Overall the uke has a great vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Friction tuners are in good working condition. 1 3/8" nut width; 13 3/4" scale length.
Body: Solid mahogany top, back & sides with multi-ring rosette. Simple rosewood bridge & saddle. Tortoise binding on the top & back. Uke weighs 10.5 oz.
Case: Modern semi-hardshell case included.
