Description
A lovely sounding all mahogany tenor with a bright, punchy voice This beautiful 5-17T was just recently acquired from a private collection of nearly 40 rare & vintage Martin guitars, including tenors as well as mandolins, ukes & banjos. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. There's a small chip out of the treble-side of the nut, but it's pretty small & doesn't affect playability. Overall the guitar looks great with an authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & cream dot inlays. Frets are clean with no wear. Open-gear tuners with cream buttons. 1 1/4" nut width; 23" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: Solid mahogany top & back & sides. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. Guitar weighs 2 lbs 2.8 oz.
Case: Modern hardshell case included.
