Description
A truly wonderful player's grade, war-era O-15 with an absolutely gorgeous voice - really warm & rich sounding with excellent sound projection despite its rather small size. Professionally set up & super fun to play, we have a feeling this one won't stick around too long.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear, just the way we like them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are a couple of cracks in the body - one on the back, upper bout, bass side & the other is in the bass side of the body, lower bout. Both were professionally glued & cleated. There was a crack in the bridge that was also professionally repaired. Everything is stable. Overall the guitar has an ultra cool, true vintage look to it with a great vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with unoriginal mother of pearl block inlays. Original frets show some wear, but still have life in them. There was a previous diamond inlay in the headstock which was replaced to match the rest of the tortoise veneer. Open-back strip tuners are in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays well up & down the fretboard.
Body: O-15 body size with solid mahogany top, back & sides. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. Tortoise pickguard & 5-ring rosette. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 1.8 oz.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
