Description
A 1983 Marshall JCM800 Model 4210 50W 1x12 tube combo amp. Like many USA-export Marshalls from this era, the bias circuit was modified at some point to be used with EL34s instead of 6550s. Our tech finished the job--properly converting alll components and feedback tap to the correct, EL34-powered UK circuit.
The split-channel 42xx series amps were the first Marshall amps with channel-switching capabality. In addition to offering the classic JCM800-era crunch tone, these amps also sport a decent clean tone and reverb, making for a much more versatile amp. This amp has been serviced and tested. It is fully functional and sounds great. Includes non-original footswitch.
