Description
What makes this mandolin special: A marvelous USA-made acoustic / electric mandolin from the '60s or early '70s. The single-coil "blade" pickup sounds great & even when it's not plugged in, the mandolin produces a rich, vibrant tone. The checkerboard binding looks fantastic against the sunburst finish. Professionally set up by our luthier so it's in perfect playing condition.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical play wear for its age - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. The neck was professionally reset by our own luthier & is now in perfect playing condition. Overall the mandolin has a great look to it with a cool vintage vibe.

Body: Spruce top with checkerboard binding & dual F-holes. Floating rosewood bridge & 3-ply black pickguard with faded Kay logo. Maple back & sides with single-ply back binding. Mandolin weighs 2 lbs 14.2 oz.
