Description
A original 1964 JMI Vox AC30/6 Treble tube combo amp in exceptional condition. In remarkable shape for its age and size, this rare combo is all original aside from a handful of changed caps and resistors. All transformers and speakers are 100% original. This exact amp was the featured AC30/6 example on the Vox Showroom archive.
Soundwise, this amp features the big midrange and smooth breakup of early Vox amps. The overdrive tone is rich and full, retaining the classic Vox "chime" without sounding overly bright. It also features the classic Vibravox dual-mode Vibrato/Tremolo circuit. The perfect addition to any high-end amp collection or recording studio. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds incredible.
