Well here's something you don't see everyday - a very early (first or second year) Ibanez double neck in original white finish with gold hardware. The 2402DX was made in Japan & considered a "lawsuit" guitar designed to compete with Gibson's much more expensive EDS-1275. Featuring a pair of bolt-on mahogany neck with four muscular sounding humbuckers that deliver superb, rich tones. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds marvelous!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great true vintage look to it with a cool vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded, slender profile mahogany neck with black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboards with pearloid double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Closed-back tuners with Keystone buttons in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut widths; 24 3/4" scale lengths. Both necks are straight & truss rods function fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Stop tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridges & gold hardware. 4-ply black pickguards are in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs a whopping 13.65 lbs.
Electronics: Dual humbuckers on both necks with exposed "zebras" on the six-string side. 6-String Bridge - 8.11K ohms; Neck - 7.96. 12-String Bridge - 7.84K ohms; Neck - 7.95K ohms. Master volume & tone controls for each neck with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way pickup & neck selector toggle switches. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
