Description
A true vintage flat top featuring all solid tone woods with a 16" lower bout width. This one's a bit of a project, though, due to the action being rather high.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape with some typical, mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the guitar looks good & has a cool vibe.
Neck: Chunky profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back strip tuners with white buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/4" scale length. The truss rod is maxed out & the neck needs to be reset to get the action down, which as it stands right now is about 1/4" at the 12th fret.
Body: Double-bound, OOO size body with 16" lower bout width. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany back & sides. The bridge is beginning to lift a bit as is the pickguard. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 14.5 oz.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
