Description
Based on a fairly simple construction design & marketed as an affordable catalog guitar, these old Harmony Rockets have always been fun to play, and over the years have managed to find their way back into the hands of a variety of players. This H53 model features one single coil pickup in a fully hollow body with a chunky maple neck - pretty straight forward & to the point. It resonates well & offers a cool, vintage tone.
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & a crack along the side near the output jack. Overall the guitar has a great vibe to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Chunky maple neck with nicely aged white binding & black side-dots. Dark stained fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Unoriginal Grover tuners in good working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 1/2" scale length.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with adjustable floating bridge. Single-ply pickguard. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 10.8 oz.
Electronics: Single coil neck pickup with thick white bezel. Master volume & tone controls with "cupcake" knobs. All electronics are in good working conditon.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included.
