Description
An excellent player's grade Steve Stevens Hamer due to a headstock repair. Features included an HSS pickup configuration with coil splitting & a Floyd Rose tremolo with locking nut. A dynamite player with a cool vibe & gorgeous tone. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: As previously mentioned, there is a headstock break that was repaired quite some time ago. The area is stable with no playability issues. Throughout the rest of the guitar there are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. The white finish has aged over the years into more of a yellowish color. Overall the guitar has a really cool vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Hamer diecast tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" width locking nut; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, contoured, solid mahogany body. Floye Rose tremolo bridge with adjustable locking saddles & original trem arm included. Gold & white hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.2 oz.
Electronics: HSS pickup configuration. Bridge - 16.06K ohms; Middle - 4.83K ohms; Neck - 6.79K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way selector switch. 2-way toggle switch for coil-splitting. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case shows some wear & tear & a portion of the bottom clasp is missing.
