Description
Initially introduced as the Prototype SS, then changed to Steve Stevens I in '86, this ultra cool '85 model features a contoured, double-cutaway body loaded with dual single coils & one humbucker with coil tap switch. Double-locking nut & Floyd Rose tremolo ensure this gorgeous beast is ready to rock. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays great!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with scratches throughout. The guitar has a cool, well-played vibe to it with a nice patina. The guitar was missing its truss rod & trem covers, so we hand-cut them.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & mother ofpearl dot inlays. Frets show only a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Hamer diecast tuners with tension bar & locking nut. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body. Floyd Rose tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & trem arm included. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 12.3 oz.
Electronics: Hamer HSS pickups with 3-way toggle switch & 2-way mini switch for coil tapping the humbucker. Master volume & tone controls with black knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The bottom clasp is missing.
