Description
A true vintage Starfire V with an ultra cool vibe & superb playability. This gorgeous guitar is every bit as dynamic as it's Gibson counterpart, but sells for only a fraction of the price. Rich, luscious tone with a smooth, silky neck for maximum performance. Professionally inspected & set up ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Perfectly worn with an ultra cool vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The body binding has shrunk a bit in the cutaways showing some tiny gaps, but is still quite firmly attached & not going anywhere. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots.
Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Nickel Grover tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Truss rod cover is not original.
Body: Semi-hollow maple body with 3-ply binding & dual F-holes. Guild tremolo tailpiece with compensated floating bridge. Pickguard is missing. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 4.8 oz.
Electronics: Guild humbuckers with black bezels. Both pickups sound fantastic & deliver warm, rich tones. Dual volume & tone controls with unoriginal "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch & master volume knob. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Gator hardshell case included.
