Cosmetic Condition: Perfectly worn with an ultra cool vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Small profile frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Grover Pat Pend Rotomatic tuners with faded gold finish. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Semi-hollow mahogany body with 3-ply binding & dual F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece & fixed bridge with adjustable roller saddles. The bridge bushings are mismatched. Black plexi "stairstep" pickguard with gold Guild logo & piping. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.5 oz.
Electronics: Unoriginal Guild humbuckers with black bezels. Both pickup cavities have been routed a bit. Dual volume & tone controls with Guild "witch hat" knobs. The pots are slightly later period & date to '71 & '72. 3-way toggle switch & master volume knob. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
