Description
In it's heyday Guild's Navarre F-50 was the top of the acoustic flat top line. Despite its less than stellar appearance, this is a great playing Jumbo with a big, booming voice that projects like a cannon! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to go upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There are three top cracks (two below the bridge & one near the pickguard) that have all been professionally glued & cleated.
Neck: Mahogany neck that was professionally reset quite some time ago. Multi-layer binding with black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone triangles inside mother of pearl block inlays. Professionally refretted with bigger frets that show no wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl logo inlays. Gold Schaller tuners with Guild branding. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Jumbo body with multi-layer top & back binding. Solid spruce top with multi-ring rosette & black pickguard. Ebony bridge & end-pins. The bridge was professionally reglued. Flame maple back & sides with arched back. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 6 lbs 3 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included. One of the bottom latches is missing.
