A little beat up, but still an excellent companion to keep you company during those long, lonely nights on the road.
Cosmetic Condition: Well this one's definitely been through the ringer over the years & it shows - lots of nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear. There's a headstock crack that was professionally repaired as well as various back & side cracks in the body that have all been glued & cleated. The neck has been reset & refinished.
Neck: Mahogany neck with white side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-gear strip tuners work well. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Double-bound with solid spruce top. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Rosewood bridge with cream end-pins. The bridge is lifting up a tiny bit, but still quite firmly attached. Solid mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 4 lbs 4 oz.
Case: Unoriginal Takamine-branded hardshell case included.
