Description
Small body guitars are in vogue right now & this gorgeous F-20 Troubadour is a wonderful example of the fine acoustic craftsmanship coming out of Guild's Hoboken factory in the early days of the company. The guitar has a light airiness to it that makes it so much fun to play & its small size makes it the perfect travel companion.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great vintage vibe to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with super dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Mother of pearl Guild headstock inlay. The headstock veneer is peeling up a bit near the nut & also the top, but it's not to bad. Open-back strip tuners with cream buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, small body flat top. Solid spruce top with Brazilian rosewood bridge & white end-pins. Tortoise pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Mahogany back & sides. 14" lower bout width; 10 1/2" upper bout width; 4 1/4" depth. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 7 oz.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
