Description
100% original & just recently acquired from the original owner who kept the guitar in immaculate condition over the years. Even the original sales receipt is included in the case! Fully inspected & set up ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age with basically just mild surface scratches. There's a tiny bit of chattering along the neck binding near the first few frets where the binding needed to be reglued & also a few spots along the body binding. Overall the guitar is quite clean for being over 40 years old.
Neck: Mahogany neck with white binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone triangles inside mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with very little wear. Bound headstock with mother of pearl Guild & G logo inlays. Guild-embossed Schaller tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 5/8" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought with multi-layer top & back binding. Solid spruce top in sunburst finish. Black pickguard & multi-ring rosette. Ebony bridge with white end pins. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with checkered center strip. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs 5 lbs 14.1 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original owner's manual & sales receipt. Even the case is clean!
