Description
Just recently acquired from the original owner who kept it in great shape over the years! The Bamboo Yellow finish looks fabulous & is still quite vibrant. It matches so well with the Copper Mist back & sides. Even the pickguard & truss rod cover with racing stripes are in great shape! A dyanmite player with a beautiful, natural acoustic resonance. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for being 55 years old - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & weather checking. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & has an authentic vintage vibe to it.
Neck: Nicely rounded, wide profile maple neck with naturally aged cream binding & red side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are in great shape with just a tiny bit of wear & plenty of life in them. Open-gear nickel tuners work perfectly. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Rocking Bar bridge. Copper plexi pickguard with racing stripes. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 15.2 oz.
Electronics: Dual HiloTron single coils with silver bezels. 3-way pickup & tone selector switches. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls. 9-volt battery compartment in the back of the body for Sonic Boom along with its own switch & volume control. The pickups sound great, but unfortunately the Sonic Boom does not function at all, we are sorry to say.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
