Description
A dynamite player with superb tone & feel. Beautiful acoustic resonance & professionally set up ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for its age with signs of mild play wear - various nicks, dents & dings; scratches & light weather checking. Overall the guitar looks good & has a cool vintage look to it.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl thumbnail inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Closed-back chrome tuners work well. 1 11/16" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with bound F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Adjustomatic bridge. Silver plexi pickguard with Chet Atkins signature & Tennessean logo. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.2
Electronics: HiloTron single coils with chrome bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. Unoriginal brass jackplate. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Modern Gretsch hardshell case included. The bottom back of the case has a tiny bit of separation, but still functions properly.
