A true vintage beauty & a dynamite player featuring Project-O-Sonic Stereo. The gold hardware looks fantastic against the naturally aged white finish. The double "blacktop" FilterTrons sound terrific & deliver that classic Gretsch sound! Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it's ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with signs of typical mild play wear - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The white finish has aged into more of a cream color over the years & shows off some nice variegation throughout. Overall the guitar looks great with an authentic vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Maple neck with gold sparkle binding & black side-dots. Multi-bound ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with gold sparkle Gretsch inlay. Grover tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The model number on the inside label actually reads 7695. Gold sparkle binding on the top & back along with the F-holes as well. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with wire arm. Adjustomatic bridge on an ebony base. Gold plexi pickguard with Falcon logo & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 10.3 oz.
Electronics: Dual FilterTron "blacktop" humbuckers with gold bezels. Dual volume knobs with "G" Arrow knobs. Dual pickup & tone selector switches. Stereo & standby switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
