Description
A nice player with a cool vintage vibe. The older '60s models had simulated F-holes, but these are real on this model. All the other familiar hallmarks are there - dual FilterTrons, Bigsby tailpiece & Space Control bridge. Set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for a 50-year old guitar actually with only some mild play wear - various little nicks & dings; surface scratches & light weather checking. The body binding looks good & there's only a little bit of deterioration on the neck binding. Overall the guitar looks nice & has a great vibe to it.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl thumbnail inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with Grover tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The Bigsby tailpiece was misaligned when it was originally installed, so we repositioned it, hence the filled holes in the bottom of the body. The strings line up better now from the tuners to the tailpiece & lay nicely across the Space Control bridge. Gold plexi pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.3 oz.
Electronics: Dual FilterTron humbuckers with gold bezels. Master volume along with individual pickup volume controls. 3-way pickup, tone & standby selector switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
