100% original & in wonderful shape for its age. A superb player with a silky smooth neck & gorgeous sounding HiloTrons. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really great shape for its age with only minimal play wear. The binding does show the typical "rot" these older Gretsches are known for, but it's not terrible. Various little nicks, dents & dings along with some weather checking.
Neck: Maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & red side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back tuners & Anniversary plaque on the front of the headstock. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single cutaway, double-bound maple body with dual F-holes. "G" Cutout tailpiece with Space Control bridge. Gold plexi pickguard with black Gretsch logo. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 2 oz.
Electronics: HiloTron single coils with silver bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup & tone selector switches. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is a quite tattered, but serves its purpose well.
