Description
Affectionately known as the Monkees bass & made famous by Peter Tork, the 6073 has been one of the most popular Gretsch models on the market. Known for its thick neck profile & warm, thumpy tone, this double pickup, semi-hollow body is a real joy to play. Professionally set up & ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for its age with minimal play wear - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some mild finish wear. The original burgundy finish has faded quite a bit over the years & turned into more of a light brown.
Overall the bass has a wonderful, true vintage vibe with a gorgeous patina.

Body: Single-cutaway, semi-hollow maple body with top binding & simulated F-holes. "G" Cutout tailpiece with Space Control bridge. 8 lbs 11.7 oz.
Electronics: Dual SuperTron humbuckers with silver bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls all with "G" Arrow knobs. 3-way pickup, tone & standby switches. Mute lever with unoriginal pad. All electronics are in good working condition.
