Description
Based on an American classic, this superb playing PB500 is an excellent choice for those on a budget who still want a quality instrument. The neck is super comfortable & silky smooth to play. Total weight is under 9 lbs & the bass has a wonderful natural resonance to it so it sounds fantastic. Professionally set up with low action, ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with typical mild play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the bass is in pretty good shape for its age with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe.
Neck: Nicely rounded, slender profile maple neck with cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with only a tiny bit of wear. Headstock decal is clean with no bits missing. Open-gear "clover" tuners & round string tree. 1 9/16" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body finished in 3-tone sunburst. Top-loading bridge with four adjustable "barrel" saddles. The bridge cover is missing. 3-ply tortoise pickguard & nickel hardware. Bass weighs 8 lbs 14 oz.
Electronics: Upgraded with EMG passive P-Bass single coils, but the originals are included. Master volume & tone controls with knurled knobs. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
