Description

Condition: This is a beautiful sounding classical with an authentic vintage look and feel. There is plenty of weather checking and some finish cracks on the top, back and sides that give this guitar an awesome look. There are various nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the instrument. There is one large chip on the neck but this is merely cosmetic. The neck has been heat pressed by our luthier and the heel has been re-glued. This has resulted in a proper neck angle and comfortable action up and down the neck. The tuning machines have also been replaced. There is some binding missing off a part of the bridge but this does not affect playability. There is a small hole on the inside of the guitar in the neck block. There are no screws in the hole and it is not affecting the playability or structural integrity of the guitar. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear towards the lower registers. All parts are in perfect working condition.

Body: Double bound body with spruce top in natural finish and flamed maple back and sides finished with a brown stain. Rosewood bridge with ivoroid saddle. The sound hole has an intricate inlaid rosette.

Neck: Wide mahogany neck with maple strip down the back. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot fret markers and a 2” ivoroid nut. Slotted peg head with three-on-a-strip gold tuners with pearloid buttons. 25.5” scale length.

Weight: 3lbs, 10.5oz.

Playability/Sound: This guitar produces plenty of volume and resonance with a very warm overall sound. The maple back and sides provide a nice attack for strumming and finger style. The wide neck is very comfortable and ideal for finger style and chords.

Case: Includes unoriginal hardshell case.
