Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for being over 100 years old! Various little nicks, dents & dings; surface scratches & some mild finish wear, but overall the mandolin looks wonderful with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show a bit of wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-gear strip tuners with ivoriod buttons. 1 3/16" nut width; 14" scale length.
Body: A-style body with bound top. Solid spruce top in orange finish. Bound, oval soundhole with rope rosette. The Gibson nickel tailpiece with compensated ebony bridge. Tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Birch back & sides; arched top & back. There are no electronics & the mandolin weighs 1 lbs 14 oz.
