Description

A dynamite player with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! Professionally refretted, so it plays like a dream, but otherwise all original. A silky smooth neck paired with rich, creamy tone makes this SG a definite must-have for any player! Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case.

Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.

Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Unoriginal frets show just a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners with double-lip buttons. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with 5-ply, large black pickguard. The guard is in great shape with no cracks. Maestro tremolo with engraved Gibson & Lyre. ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 4.7 oz.

Electronics: Dual Gibson Pat Number humbuckers. Bridge - 7.51K ohms; Neck - 7.90K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Most of the pot codes are obscured by the solder points, but the one that can be read does appear to date to '68. All electronics are in good working condition.

Case: Original hardshell case included along with the original mini booklets. The case is a bit rough, but still serves its purpose well.
