This is a true vintage Melody Maker that was sent to Historic Makeovers & converted to look like the model Joan Jett plays. Featuring a Velvet Hammer bridge humbucker that deliver muscular tone! Professionally set up & ready to rock straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Intentionally "aged" by Historic Makeovers to give it that "vintage", well-worn & played look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Multiple decals have been added to make the guitar look just like Joan's.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in clean with no wear. Schaller tuners work perfectly. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Double-cutaway, solid mahogany body refinished in white. Stopbar tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge. Single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 5.1 oz.
Electronics: Velvet Hammer bridge humbucker - 8.99K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with 3-way toggle switch. In the down position the humbucker is full on; in the middle it cuts to about half power & up the sound is killed. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included along with COA. The case is dented in the back, but still functions well.
