A true vintage beauty with a bright, snappy tone that's so much fun to play. The neck is super comfortable & plays great anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally set up & ready to play upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some mild weather checking. There's a crack just below the treble-side of the fingerboard into the soundhole that was professionally glued & cleated. The guitar has been oversprayed. Overall the guitar has a cool look to it with great vibe.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. The neck was professionally reset & most likely refretted. Frets are clean with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with white buttons & unoriginal bone nut. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Double-bound with solid spruce top in sunburst finish. Rosewood bridge with mother of pearl dot inlays & unoriginal compensated bone saddle. Tortoise pickguard & 3-ply rosette. Mahogany back & sides. There are no electronics & the guitar weighs a delightful 3 lbs 12.9 oz.
Case: Original faux aligator chipboard case included along with a vintage Bobby Lee leather strap.
