Description
Rare white finish with an ultra cool, true vintage vibe! Fully functioning with superb tone & playability. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so it plays & sounds great!
Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. The white finish has aged nicely over the years & shows off some nice variegation. There is a "2" in the back of the headstock indicating the bass was a factory second. There's a small chip in the control plate, but overall the bass has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with black binding & cream side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with black binding. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles & original bridge cover. Chrome hardware & the bass weighs 10.75 lbs.
Electronics: Two low impedance humbucking pickups with Hi or Low impedance modes along with In/Out Phase switch. Volume, treble & bass controls with black "top hat" knobs. Two of silver inserts are missing. 3-way pickup toggle & 3-way Tone switch. The spring in the tone switch has worn out, so the switch moves very loosely, but still functions. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
