Not your typical Les Paul Studio, some of these early models featured solid alder bodies with maple necks, just like this gorgeous example. The slender profile neck is silky smooth & plays like a dream up & down the fretboard. The PAF humbuckers sound magnificent & deliver warm, rich tones with sustain that seems to last for days. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused with only mild play wear for its age - various little nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an ultra cool vibe!
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful super dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid alder body with plain maple top finished in classic Cherry Sunburst with cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with chrome/nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard & nickel jackplate. Guitar weighs a delightful 7 lbs 13.4 oz & is exceptionally resonant!
Electronics: Original PAF humbuckers with cream bezels. Bridge - 7.21K ohms; Neck - 7.36K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '83 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
