Made for only a brief period, from about 1969 until '72, this gorgeous example dates to '70 & is in great shape for its age. Featuring a pair of low impedance pickups, phase switch & gold hardware, all wrapped up in a classic walnut finish. Cosmetic Condition: Various little nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & just general mild play wear. Overall the guitar looks great & has an ultra cool, true vintage vibe.
Neck: 3-piece mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. Bound headstock with split diamond inlays. Kluson "waffle back" tuners & Les Paul Personal truss rod cover. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with multi-layer top & back binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles. 5-ply black pickguard & gold hardware. Guitar weighs 11 lbs 9.5 oz.
Electronics: Two Gibson-embossed, low impedance pickups with master volume & 3-way pickup toggle. Phase Switch & 3-way Tone Selector. Volume, Decade, Treble & Bass controls with black "top hat" knobs. Pots date to '70 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal Gretsch hardshell case included.
