Description
An excellent player's grade Les Paul Junior with superb tone & feel. The neck is silky smooth & plays like a dream anywhere on the fretboard. The P-90 sounds awesome & delivers that signature, beefy single coil sound! Professionally set up & ready to play straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. The finish was completely stripped off the guitar except for the back of the headstock, which still displays the original serial number. There are two large circular patterns underneath the pickguard, however, these are not routes. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a cool, authentic vintage vibe & nice patina.
Neck: One-piece mahogany neck with nicely aged cream side-dots. Dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Unoriginal tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: One-piece, solid mahogany body with single cutaway. Original nickel wrap-around bridge/tailpiece & single-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 0.5 oz & is very resonant.
Electronics: One P-90 single coil bridge pickup with black "dog ear" cover - 8.45K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs. The pots are not original & it was difficult to discern if the pickup is too, but it has a strong, healthy output & sounds fantastic!
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
