Description
A bad ass Les Paul with beastly tone. Don't let the mini humbuckers fool you - this Deluxe is a monster! Ready to rock straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & finish wear throughout. The guitar has a great look to it with a super cool, true vintage vibe & beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original frets show some wear, but still have life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners work perfectly. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. The neck has a very slight twist in it, but the truss rod functions & the guitar is quite playable.
Body: Solid mahogany "sandwich" body with plain maple top & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece with newer Gibson bridge. The original bridge is included with the guitar, but it had aged & corroded to the point where it just wasn't functional anymore. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 11.7 oz. She's a hefty gal, but very resonant with killer tone!
Electronics: Original Gibson mini humbuckers with cream bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '76 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. Three of the four latches are missing.
