Description
First year of the Les Paul Deluxe, featuring a pair of killer sounding mini humbuckers that kick out rich, creamy tones! The Goldtop finish looks fantastic & shows off the perfect amount of true vintage wear. The neck is super comfy & plays perfectly anywhere on the fretboard. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts here at Cream City Music, so it's ready for action upon arrival.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear, just the way we like to see them - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with an authentic vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.
Neck: 3-piece mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Two string guides were added to the headstock. They look cool so we left them on. Kluson Deluxe tuners with double-ring Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works perfectly.
Body: Solid mahogany body & NOT a "sandwich" with maple top in original Gold finish with cream binding. Unoriginal stopbar tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge. Single-ply cream pickguard & jackplate. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 13.7 oz.
Electronics: Original mini humbuckers with cream bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '69 & all electronics are in good working condition. The "poker chip" around the toggle switch is missing.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
