Cosmetic Condition: Just the right look with good honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches, buckle rash & some finish wear. The white finish has aged nicely over the years & mellowed into more of an off-white/cream color, showing some spots of discoloration here & there. Overall the guitar looks great & shows off a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original small frets are in great shape with minimal wear & plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlay. Unoriginal Schaller tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple top. Multi-layer top & back binding. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge with gold hardware. 5-ply black pickguard & brass jackplate. Guitar weighs 10 lbs 0.1 oz.
Electronics: Gibson humbucker with double-black T-Top exposed coils - 7.69K ohms; Gibson neck humbucker with gold cover - 7.43K ohms. Both pickups date to '77. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date date to '76 & '78 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Early 70's Gibson hardshell case included.
